Medical Technologist, MLS or MLT - Oconomowoc Memorial - PRN/Pool

What You Will Do

Medical Technologists, or Medical Laboratory Scientists, perform moderate to high complexity testing within the Clinical Laboratory. Prepares samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation. Performs numerous complicated tests simultaneously; accurately evaluates correlates and interprets test results.

Requirements

Bachelors degere in Medical Laboratory Technology Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) needs to be obtained within 6 months, or Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) needs to be obtained within 6 months Under approved circumstances, an extension may be granted for an additional 6 months.
