Independence Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our highly respected surgical team at Westmoreland Hospital. Practice Highlights: · Established cardiothoracic surgery program with strong regional reputation
· Approximately 500 cardiothoracic procedures annually – including surgical and structural procedures
· Participation in a Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) highly ranked program, emphasizing quality outcomes and data-driven care
· Robust referral network and collaborative medical staff
· 22 bed ICU and 10 bed Step down with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
· Long established cardiology program including interventional, structural and electrophysiology program with 4 interventional, 9 general cardiology and 3 electrophysiologists.
Clinical Scope: · Full spectrum of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
· Minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic procedures
· Off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) expertise supported
