The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident’s assessment, care plan, facility policies, and direction from nursing supervisors. Essential
Provide compassionate daily resident care and assistance with activities of daily living Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and mobility Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as instructed Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff Assist with transfers, repositioning, lifting, and transportation of residents Ensure residents’ rooms are clean, comfortable, and prepared appropriately Maintain accurate documentation and charting Assist residents during meals and monitor food/fluid intake Follow infection control and safety procedures Maintain confidentiality of resident information and protected health information Report incidents, accidents, concerns, or suspected abuse immediately Work cooperatively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members Follow established schedules, assignments, and facility policies Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required CPR certification preferred Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift Ability to assist during emergency situations if necessary Why Join Roseville Care Center?
