Job Summary

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our OB Hospitalist team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA.

Position Highlights

  • Flexible schedule with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
  • 144-hours per month with ability to take extra shifts as desired
  • Shifts and deliveries at Wellstar Cobb Hospital

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Hospitalists provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including:
  • Labor and delivery management for unassigned patients
  • Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Obstetric emergencies
  • Gynecologic emergency consultations and surgeries
  • Emergency Department consultations
  • Supervision of OB Emergency Department
  • Support of antepartum patients

Qualifications

  • Required
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical license
  • 3+ years of experience

Requirements

Must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN. Requires a valid Georgia medical license and at least 3 years of experience.
