Market context
In Virginia, Patient Care Technician openings on multi-specialty oncology units are typically driven by ongoing inpatient care needs, especially in settings that support patients with complex treatment plans and frequent monitoring. These roles are competitive because employers often look for candidates with formal aide training, CNA or STNA credentials, or relevant clinical experience, plus BLS readiness before direct patient care. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly compare fit, then confirm your certification status and highlight any oncology, med-surg, or bedside support experience in your application.
