The Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of the clinical director. The position also provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The Polysomnographic Technologist acts as a resource person to all sleep center staff to assure continuity of quality patient care in accordance with the Sleep Center's objectives, policies, and procedures. Administers an advanced level of practice in sleep medicine, and has an advanced understanding of Neurodiagnostics.

Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in polysomnographic testing and an RPSGT certification. An associate degree in polysomnography or respiratory care and BLS certification are required or preferred.
