The RN independently performs direct patient care in the Pre-Op PACU, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care. Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, documenting encounters in EPIC, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), a current Texas nursing license, and BLS certification. At least 2 years of Critical Care RN experience is required, with pediatric or Pre-Op PACU experience preferred.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
