Salary
$38 - $45 / HOUR
Perform various ultrasound imaging procedures and document patient medical histories and data accurately in charts. Maintain equipment cleanliness and provide guidance and training to new technologists.
Requires ARDMS and/or RVT registration with clinical experience and CPR-BLS certification. Must be proficient in independent advanced studies including Abdomen, Small Parts, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast imaging.
Document patient's medical history prior to any examination Sterilize and maintain ultrasound equipment Gain patient cooperation by calming anxieties, providing explanation of imaging process and addressing any questions or concerns Carefully position patients in order to obtain correct imaging Responsibly ensure patient is comfortable and safe throughout their experience Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies Use sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures Document ultrasound services by accurately recording data in the patient's chart Effectively communicate medical data, patient history and any related information to staff and appropriate physician Provide education, training and direction to new technologists Perform all job related functions as a Ultrasound Technologist, including all Ultrasound imaging procedures according to department standard in a timely and efficient manner Perform all other duties as assigned Frequent lifting/movement of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance without assistance Must be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictions

ARDMS and/or RVT registered with prior clinical ultrasound experience Proficiency running advanced Ultrasound studies independently Proficient in Abdomen/Small Parts,OB/GYN, Vascular Experience in Breasts CPR-BLS Certification
