Salary Range

$26.00 to $30.00 per hour

Sign-on Bonus

• $2,000.
• The bonus will be paid in two installments: $1,000 after six months of employment and ad additional $1,000 after 12 months of employment.

Required certification or license

IAODAPCA certification as CERTIFIED ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG COUNSELOR (CADC) or IC&RC Counselor certification CRADC, CSADC, CAADC or LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC

Who We Are

Abraxas Youth & Family Services is a national nonprofit human services provider dedicated to Building Better Futures for at-risk youth, adults, and families. Our diversified array of services includes alternative education, outpatient counseling, in-home services, shelter, detention, residential treatment and re-entry/transition services.

Licenses/Designations/Certifications

• Current licensure, CADC, LPC or LSW or LCPC or LCSW
• Two (2) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Preferred.
• Two (2) years of counseling experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in making decisions.
• Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Valid driver’s license from employee’s state of residence.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
