- Proliance Surgeons Proliance Orthopedic Associates (POA), a Division of Proliance Surgeons, is located 10 miles from Downtown Seattle in the suburb of Renton, WA.

- POA has 13 Orthopedic surgeons, 1 Primary Care sports medicine physician, 1 physiatrist, 1 occupational medicine physician, and 31 Mid-levels.
- Our main clinic is on the Valley Medical Center campus in Renton with 5 satellite clinics to cover a broad catchment area and a Bone and Joint Urgent Care open 7 days a week.
- Proliance Surgery Center at Valley, a fully staffed 6-room ASC opened in 2021, with total joints, shoulders, and sports surgeons consistently running two room flip rooms, and is one of the highest revenue ancillaries available to partners in the state.
Position Summary
The Total Joint Surgeon performs same-day joint replacement surgeries in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This role focuses on safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Perform outpatient joint replacement surgeries Select appropriate patients for ASC procedures Prepare patients for safe same-day discharge Provide pre- and post-operative care and education Work closely with anesthesia, nursing, and therapy teams Support efficient workflows and strong patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation Participate in quality improvement efforts Take call as needed
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship in Total Joints preferred Active medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA certification Experience Experience with outpatient or short-stay joint replacements preferred Familiar with rapid recovery and minimally invasive techniques ASC experience preferred Able to manage surgical volume while maintaining quality outcomes Skills & Competencies Strong joint replacement and patient selection skills Focus on efficiency, quality, and patient experience Team-oriented with strong communication skills Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Understands basic financial and operational drivers Uses data to improve performance and outcomes Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and ethical behavior Supports team development and a positive culture Work Environment Based in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Fast-paced with predictable schedules Team-based, collaborative setting Why Join Proliance Surgeons: MANAGING COMPLEX CARE NEEDS Patients come to us when they need specific care, such as orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, ophthalmology, and more.
