The Physician Assistant performs technical procedures for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. They are responsible for daily patient rounds, writing medical orders, and coordinating care with attending physicians and nursing staff.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program. Required certifications include a New York State PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS certification.
1.Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. 2.Participates in performance improvement, research, and educational activities.
