SIMEDHealth's busy Gainesville Laboratory is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Laboratory Technologist (on-site). You'll play a vital role in providing essential chemistry, hematology, immunology, virology, and toxicology testing services that support the care of our large network of over 100 SIMEDHealth providers.
As a key member of our laboratory team, you will utilize your expertise in technical principles and equipment operation to ensure the consistent delivery of accurate and reliable laboratory results.
Current Florida License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology (Serology) ASCP Medical Technologist certification is a plus! At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a healthcare laboratory setting Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong desire to collaborate within a dynamic team
What
You'll Do: Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency Ensure reliability of results through proper quality control and adherence to established procedures Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Process and prepare specimens for testing and referral Communicate critical results clearly and in a timely manner Maintain detailed documentation of testing, QC, and maintenance activities Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused laboratory environment Collaborate with a team of technologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations Why Choose SIMEDHealth?
