Assist with the care of patients of all ages in the emergency department under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Responsibilities include performing clinical tasks like EKGs and phlebotomy, managing trauma response equipment, and maintaining unit supplies.
Requires a High School Diploma and BCLS certification. Candidates must meet one of several experience criteria, such as EMT-B certification, nursing school enrollment, or previous ED Tech/Corpsmen experience.

Assist with care of patients of all ages in the emergency department in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Works under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Ensures treatment rooms are adequately stocked and equipment is in working order. Performs other tasks as directed by Charge RN.
EDUCATION High School Diploma Or Equivalent. EXPERIENCE 1 of 4 are required below: 1) EMT-B certification with 2 years' experience or 1 year ED Tech experience preferred; or 2) One year of clinical completed and currently enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing; or 3) Two years recent Government Corpsmen experience; or 4) 1 year ED Tech experience SPECIAL SKILLS BCLS Certification
