Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Day or Night Full Time Shenandoah, TX, US
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location
- Nexus Children’s Hospital –
- Shenandoah,
- TX
- Schedule: Full Time | Days or Nights, rotating 3-4 day weeks, with every other weekend requirement
ABOUT US
- Nexus Children’s Hospital – Shenandoah is a 50-bed specialty hospital serving patients ages 12 and up with co-occurring medical and behavioral needs.
- It is the higher-acuity Nexus setting, so the environment is more specialized than a standard med-surg floor, with patients who may have brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, severe chronic illness, and other medically complex conditions.
- The campus includes ICU, transitional care, and rehab units, so the work is very hands-on and clinically involved.
- For nursing, it is a strong fit for someone comfortable with bedside care, acute changes, family communication, and patients whose medical and behavioral needs can overlap.
- Overall, it is best for an LVN who wants a specialty-hospital setting with more complexity and more interdisciplinary involvement than a traditional floor role.
