  • Category: NurseThe Licensed Practical Nurse will assist Primary Residential Treatment (PRT) clients in achieving optimal levels of wellness, self-management, and functioning capability during their assigned 12-hour shift (7am-7pm, or 7pm-7am). The LPN will offer licensure level appropriate nursing skills to all PRT clients. All duties will be performed under the guidance of the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Upload your tribal Membership card, if claiming Osage or Native American preference Answer all questions Any information given may be verified You must sign/acknowledge your application to be considered for this position Osage preference does apply QualificationsRequired Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must have completed an accredited LPN program and have obtained a current, unrestricted, Nursing License from the State of Oklahoma. Current BLS for healthcare providers certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). General Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse is preferred Experience in administering medication both orally and by intra-muscular injections; reporting and recording vital signs; Knowledge of human body structure, function, illnesses and/or disease entities, and skill sufficient to communicate with nurses, patients, family members and clinic staff. Experience in observation, recording, and reporting patient information accurately and efficiently. ACLS/PALS certification preferred Knowledge of and ability to apply principles of growth and development, providing age-appropriate care to patients served. Requires a self-motivated, high energy, individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics, always maintaining confidentiality, as well as problem solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. Requires walking, sitting, recurring bending, lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, rarely over 50 pounds Must take at least 6 continuing education units per year Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including traveling to training conferences. Must maintain a professional attitude Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs. Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma, an accredited LPN program completion, and a current Oklahoma Nursing License. BLS certification is required, while experience in mental health or substance abuse and ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred.
