The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Current national certification and DEA are required. Current NY state license is a plus. The Practice St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center – Syracuse, New York STEMI Receiving Center and Primary Stroke Center with TNK capabilities. 280-bed facility with a 54-bed Emergency Department including 12 fast track. Annual volume of 56,000 with approximately 160 patients per day. Wonderful staff and culture. Large cardiovascular patient population with a 24/7 cath lab as well as heart failure and chest pain accreditation. Full sub-specialty backup excluding ophthalmology and neurosurgery. 24/7 neurologist coverage, in person and teleneurology. Requirements

Must be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current national certification and a DEA license. A New York state license is preferred, and candidates interested in academic settings are desired.
