The Physical Therapy Assistant provides treatment to patients based on a plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, instructing patients on interventions, and assessing patient conditions.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and a current license in the state of Michigan. Two years of experience, particularly in orthopedics, is preferred.
Job purpose
The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for providing treatment to Physical Therapy patients per the Plan of Care initiated by the supervising Physical Therapist. The PTA is to complete documentation regarding patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

Must be able to walk, climb, bend, push, pull and squat as well as be able to lift items weighing up to 40# pounds.
