  • Work: A nurse in a breast imaging center plays a key clinical and patient-support role before, during, and after breast imaging procedures. Their focus is on patient education, safety, coordination of care, and emotional support for both inpatient and outpatient procedures. You will also float to Radiology for more general radiology procedures.

  • For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing, BSN strongly preferred Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Experience with Breast Oncology,

  • You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of a Board of Nursing approved program with an active RN license and BLS certification. Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with a BSN preferred.
