The Echo RN performs nursing functions in the Echocardiography Laboratory, including administering medications for conscious sedation and pharmacological stress testing. They are responsible for patient preparation, monitoring vital signs, and providing education to patients and their families.
Requires a nursing degree and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with CCU or telemetry experience strongly preferred. Must hold a Pennsylvania RN license and Basic Life Support certification, with Moderate Sedation Certification required within one year.
