Job description

Part-Time caregiver needed in dexter

Saturday & Sunday 4: 30 PM – 7:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one support in a home setting in Dexter. This position is ideal for a caregiver who is proactive, observant, and confident assisting with mobility and transfers.

Reliable transportation to Dexter is non-negotiable. Please apply only if you can consistently and dependably commute to the client’s home for all scheduled shifts.

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour

What we're looking for
Strong transfer and mobility assistance skills
Ability to identify changes in condition and recognize needs before they become problems
Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Excellent observation and communication skills
Experience with personal care and meal preparation preferred

Assist with transfers and mobility support
Prepare meals and encourage nutrition/hydration
Provide personal care assistance as needed
Monitor for changes in physical, emotional, or safety needs
Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Communicate observations and concerns promptly

You are the type of caregiver who notices the small things before they become big problems. You don't wait to be told what needs to be done—you assess the situation, take initiative, and provide excellent care while maintaining safety, dignity, and independence.

If you are reliable, compassionate, and have strong hands-on caregiving skills, we would love to hear from you.

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
