Provide a full range of cardiothoracic surgical care across office, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Collaborate with other specialists to develop a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Must be a graduate of a U.S. medical school with a general surgery residency and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Requires board certification in Thoracic Surgery and active licensure including DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Provides a full range of cardiothoracic surgical care to patients of Legacy Health. Such care is provided in an office, outpatient, or inpatient setting and includes the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches. Provides “non-trauma” coverage on an “on-call” capacity for Emanuel, Good Samaritan and Tuality Hospitals. Provides office follow up of cardiothoracic patients. Provides consultation on cardiothoracic surgical issues. Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice. Participates on relevant committees as requested. Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy’s cardiothoracic surgery services. Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion. Works with other specialists (radiology, cardiology) to develop a comprehensive Legacy cardiovascular surgery program.
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent. Completion of general surgery residency. Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Licensure Medical License, DEA, BLS for the applicable state. Membership on LPH Medical Staff. Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery. BLS for Providers certification from the American Heart Association required. ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Pay Range USD $0.00 - USD $0.00 /Hr.
