Job Description

The best career is right here. Provision of admission services to potential patients and families consistent with the goals, definitions, philosophy, and purpose of the St. Elizabeth Hospice. Provision of the initial assessment and physical assessment for all patients being admitted to St. Elizabeth Hospice. Identifies and coordinates initial medication and equipment needs and completes the initial plan of care for all admissions. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and other employees regardless of cultural background. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence. Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Valid Driver’s license. Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrates advanced assessment skills appropriate for home care environment. Ability to function independently. Knowledge of community resources. Kind and Length of Experience: 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or care facility setting. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Right Career. Right Here.
