The BCBA provides oversight of behavioral therapy services and collaborates with management to develop and enhance programs. Key duties include conducting assessments, implementing behavior support plans, and training direct care staff.
A Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field and current BCBA certification in Michigan are required. Preference is given to candidates with two to five years of experience working with individuals with TBI or developmental disabilities.
Conduct behavioral assessments for persons served residing within the program Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive behavior support plans Provide training and guidance to management and direct care staff regarding implementation and documentation of behavior support plans Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide behavioral services representation and recommendations Monitor progress toward behavior support goals and complete required progress reports for the billing department Attend appointments as needed and communicate relevant updates with the interdisciplinary care team Provide after-hours on-call support for persons served experiencing behavioral concerns, as needed Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards Perform other duties as assigned
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field required Current Board Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the State of Michigan required Two to five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
