The COTA provides skilled occupational therapy care to patients under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist. Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating on discharge and case management.
Candidates must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). They must be able to adhere to state regulations concerning occupational therapy and work effectively within a senior care setting.
