include but are not limited to: Direct and indirect patient care in a clinical environment, assisting the physicians with patient care and follow-up, wound care, casting and splinting. Rooms and prepares patients for exams including taking medical history, vital signs and requesting reports needed for patient care. Checks, restocks, orders supplies, and cleans equipment for assigned clinic areas; charts as necessary, files reports, completes/codes daily encounter forms, checks out patients making follow up appointments. Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, coworkers and physicians. May respond to inquiries, providing routine information to patients and takes messages for the physicians and PA's.
Requires a High School Diploma, Medical Assisting Certificate, and at least two years of experience in medical assisting. Candidates must have EHR experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.
