We are looking for a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional who exemplifies that mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.

  • Friday 8am-4:30pm and one later evening. Option to work four 10-hour shifts What will you be doing? The Therapist QMHP is responsible for the provision of counseling, skills training and case management services to a caseload of clients who are diagnosed with persistent mental illness. Services are provided in family and individual treatment settings with both adult and children/adolescents. Services are offered both onsite and, in the community, or client home Therapists are expected to work with a team of service providers within the agency and throughout the social service community to ensure that all needs of clients are met Essential Job Responsibilities Attend scheduled work hours including evening hours Provide effective individual and group counseling Complete clinical assessments that meet the requirements of program funders and applicable administrative rules Provide case management services as medically necessary Complete required documentation (IM+CANS, documentation including encounters, consents) on a timely basis Meet minimum service provision/productivity requirements as assigned by Director based on specific job duties Acquire and maintain required certifications and trainings Maintain client files according to agency policy Maintain professional judgment and performance regardless of personal issues Abide by AID’s Code of Ethics, policies and procedure Schedule and conduct treatment planning meetings as necessary Obtain input from consumers and other stakeholders on how to improve service provision Provide outcome evaluation data to supervisor Maintain a positive professional working relationship with agencies and other stakeholders Maintain a positive professional working relationship with coworkers within AID Assist clients in obtaining and maintaining public entitlements as necessary Participate in agency committees as assigned Participate in clinical supervision a minimum of one time per month Provide outreach services to clients who are unable or unwilling to engage in office-based services What will we provide Full Time employees. Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in a human services field and a valid Illinois driver's license. A professional license (LPC or LSW) and at least one year of behavioral health experience are preferred.
