The chaplain provides spiritual care to patients and families in coordination with the healthcare team. They are also responsible for documenting patient visits through electronic charting.
Candidates typically need an M.Div. or D.Min. and ecclesiastical endorsement, with board certification or eligibility. Experience requirements vary from 1 to 3 years of chaplaincy or specialized pastoral experience depending on the specific role.
The chaplain will provide spiritual care to patients, families, and others in consultation with members of the health care team. Must be proficient in the use of computers and able to chart patient visits as required.
