We are dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

Partner with Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians to support advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and digital radiography.

Prepare and safely restrain patients for imaging procedures while monitoring patient comfort and reporting any concerns to the medical team.

Assist with patient sedation and monitoring during diagnostic procedures.

Facilitate outpatient ultrasound appointments, including patient triage and discharge.

Coordinate imaging appointments across multiple hospital services to ensure an efficient patient schedule.

Assist Imaging Technicians with submitting radiographs for specialist review and maintaining the imaging database.

Communicate professionally with clients as directed by the medical team and document important information within the patient's medical record.

Obtain, organize, and scan medical records and other department documentation to ensure complete patient records.

Monitor department email, respond appropriately, and document communications as needed.

Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked imaging suites and work areas.

Support other hospital departments during downtime to promote a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Foster a positive, professional atmosphere by working collaboratively with teammates and providing exceptional support to patients, clients, and colleagues.

What you bring

A high school diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience handling animals in a professional setting.

Previous experience safely restraining patients in a veterinary hospital is strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and a multidisciplinary medical team.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

A compassionate, patient-focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care.

The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional in a busy specialty hospital setting.

A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn while working alongside experienced Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians.

The ability to recognize changes in patient demeanor and promptly communicate concerns to the medical team.

A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
