In Your Day-To-Day, You Will

Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures to deliver exceptional patient care.

Monitor surgical and hospitalized patients, providing attentive nursing support and recognizing changes in patient condition.

Prepare patients for surgery by performing surgical prep, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the team throughout surgical procedures.

Collect and prepare laboratory samples while ensuring surgical equipment and treatment areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.

Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members to ensure seamless patient care and continuity throughout each shift.

Educate and support pet owners by providing compassionate updates and clear discharge and home-care instructions.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED with a preference for prior clinical or animal handling experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
