The technician is responsible for observing and recording cardiac rhythms and identifying dysrhythmias to alert nursing staff of changes. They also provide direct holistic patient care and maintain accurate departmental documentation.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, a current Idaho CNA certification, and BLS certification. Completion of an approved cardiac dysrhythmia recognition course and a passing exam are required.
