We provide certain care techniques like telemetry monitoring and advanced post-operative management. This unit serves as a transitional step between CVICU and other acute care units, offering nurses a unique opportunity to develop their nursing skills and cardiovascular expertise. What You Will Do Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
