Provide immediate personal care and support to home care clients to ensure continuity of care during last-minute cancellations or new starts. Responsibilities include performing bathing, grooming, vital signs monitoring, and mentoring other caregivers through warm handoffs.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Candidates must have at least three years of healthcare experience, including one year in home health or private duty agencies.
Hours- 8 pm - 8 am friday, saturday, sunday
The Rapid Response Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and performs various personal care services as called upon to meet the client’s needs. The Rapid Response Caregiver is dispatched as needed to a variety of clients due to last-minute cancellations, caregiver warm handoff/training needs, caregiver shadowing, and start of care for new clients. They are responsible for observing clients and reporting/documenting the observations and care performed. The Rapid Response Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a client’s care.
The Rapid Response Caregiver performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs and serve as the Ambassador of AccuCare. The Rapid Response Caregiver is dispatched immediately to ensure continuity of client’s care.

• Familiarity of St. Louis County and ability to travel within AccuCare service area.
