Perform sterile compounding in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 regulations while maintaining equipment and software. Manage medication supplies and document all cleaning and monitoring activities for sterile areas.
Requires a high school diploma, registration with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy, and pharmacy technician certification within 12 months. Candidates must complete internal aseptic technique training within two weeks of hire.

Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding Technician Perform sterile compounding according to policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800. Maintain competency in use of all equipment and programs related to performing sterile compounding. Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding. Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding. Practice critical and focused thinking and perform calculations as needed to validate activities. Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs in a timely manner, following supervisor shift pharmacists' oversight. Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training as related to sterile compounding.
