Provide clinical care for patients in the Level 2 and well-baby nurseries through independent judgment and collaboration with the healthcare team. Formulate patient care plans and maintain professional relationships with families and colleagues to improve patient outcomes.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current state licensure and NP/PA certification. Current CPR certification and eligibility for licensure by the Maryland Board of Nursing are mandatory.

Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required BSN, MSN is preferred Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience is preferred Current state RN license and NP certification are required National certification, eligible for licensure by Maryland board of nursing, eligible for certification as a NP by Maryland state board of nursing Current CPR certification is required Physician Assistant (PA): A graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) is required BS or MS candidate is preferred Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting is preferred Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required Current CPR certification is required Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner Program (Maryland Approved) required

Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
