The Medical Assistant supports dermatologists by rooming patients, scribing visit information, and managing exam room supplies. They also perform clinical tasks such as drawing blood, suture removal, and assisting with various dermatological surgical procedures.
A high school diploma is required, while certification as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN is strongly preferred. Candidates should ideally have over one year of recent experience in a medical office and proficiency with EMR systems.
