Requires a Master's degree in human services or a Bachelor's degree in a mental health field with the ability to obtain licensure. Must meet Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) qualifications and have experience treating minors and families.
The Home Based Clinician provides community-based mental health treatment for families with children in the client's homes located in Lenawee County in the Family Preservation Program. You will be providing intensive, short-term support to at-risk families to help them stay together safely and prevent children from being removed from their homes. Services include crisis intervention, parenting and life skills coaching, and mental health support, with the goal of stabilizing the family unit by strengthening family functioning and teaching new skills. These programs are typically short-term, with a focus on family-led goals and long-term stability.
This position allows for a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home to complete documentation. Staff meetings are in-office.
