The Infusion Nurse performs IV infusions of study drugs and collects biological specimens from participants. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate source documentation and ensuring compliance with GCP and sponsor protocols.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with proficiency in IV infusion, phlebotomy, and chemotherapy administration. GCP certification and knowledge of clinical research methods are preferred.

We are actively hiring an Infusion Nurse at the Flourish Research site in Century City, CA! The Infusion Nurse is responsible for performing IV infusions of blinded and unblinded study drugs, obtaining blood specimens from participants, and maintaining accurate source documentation to uphold the integrity and reliability of clinical trial data. This role involves working with site leadership, principal investigators, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Flourish Research's standards, federal regulations, and sponsor protocols.

Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements. Perform IV infusions of both blinded and unblinded investigational products in accordance with study protocols. Obtain blood specimens and other biological samples from study participants using proper clinical procedures. Ensure accurate, complete, and timely source documentation in compliance with GCP and sponsor guidelines. Monitor study participants for adverse events and report findings in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of study data and participant information. Collaborate effectively with investigators, study coordinators, and other clinical staff to ensure protocol adherence. Participate in required training sessions and maintain current knowledge of clinical trial procedures, safety standards, and best practices. Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions (verbal, written, and appearance) with staff, clients, and vendors. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Education Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active license. Nursing license must be in good standing. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification preferred. Experience Proficiency in IV infusion and phlebotomy required. Experience administering chemotherapy required Knowledge and Skills Strong knowledge of clinical research methods preferred. Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and align with operational teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer proficiency, including Office 365 products. Experience reviewing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, including risk assessment and impact analysis. Demonstrated experience with process improvement initiatives. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands. Ability to think independently and influence decisions when appropriate.
