Hospice Registered Nurses provide exceptional, compassionate care to patients with life-limiting or terminal illnesses in their homes, focusing on patient assessment, symptom control, and overall supervision of care outcomes. Nurses are responsible for managing patient pain, following physician orders, and adhering to all relevant state and organizational policies.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved nursing education program and hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois. A minimum of one year of experience as a professional acute care nurse is required, with at least one year of Hospice experience being preferred.
