Perform occupational therapy evaluations and establish plans of care for assigned patients according to AOTA standards. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote professional development within the organization.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, a Kansas state license, and BLS certification. A Master's or Doctorate degree and previous experience in medical or rehabilitation settings are preferred.
Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
