The Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care by assisting physicians during exams and procedures. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, administering medications, and educating patients on their health and follow-up care.
A valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Iowa is required. Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting and familiarity with EPIC are preferred.
Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Valid and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
