Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and medically complex patients within the neuro-intensive care unit. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuro-interventionalists.
Must be a board-certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current DEA registration and BLS, ACLS, and ENLS certifications. Preferred experience includes at least one year in a neuro-critical care setting.

Job Summary: The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro-intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams. Job Requirements: Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate. Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing. Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS). Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.
