The RN manages individualized care, provides chemotherapy infusions, and delivers patient education within an oncology clinic setting. They are responsible for patient assessments, coordinating care activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requires a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and an ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate upon hire. Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of experience in oncology nursing or infusion.

Acquires and maintains current knowledge in nursing practice, with particular emphasis in area of clinical practice; medical oncology and hematology. Maintains certification in chemotherapy (Oncology Nursing Society)Completes yearly competencies Completes yearly mandatory education Membership to a professional organization encouraged.
Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues and others. Delegates nursing interventions to those qualified to perform tasks. Participates in clinical/operational efforts that involve Clinic Operations overall as needed. Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments inaccordance with nursing standards. Coordinates the patient care activities for the clinic.
Decisions and actions on behalf of clients are determined in an ethical manner. Utilizes ANA Code for Nurses with Interpretive Statements to guide practice decisions. Preparesequipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing ofpatients.
