Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to join our collaborative, medically directed anesthesia care team. In this role, you’ll work alongside anesthesiologists and fellow anesthesia providers to deliver high-quality, holistic, and evidence‑based anesthesia and pain care services for patients undergoing complex cancer treatments and procedures.

This is an opportunity to practice at the top of your scope in a mission-driven environment where clinical excellence and patient experience are paramount.

Key responsibilities

Provide advanced perioperative anesthesia care for patients 17 years and older across a wide range of acuity levels and clinical environments, including:

  • Surgical Specialties
  • Neurosurgery
  • ENT
  • Thoracic
  • Procedural Areas
  • Pain Management
  • Radiation Oncology
  • CT and MRI

Responsibilities

include patient assessment, anesthesia planning, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post‑anesthesia evaluation following established clinical protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Council on Accreditation (COA) nurse anesthesia program
  • Certified or recertified by the NBCRNA
  • Meets institutional and state criteria for medical malpractice coverage
  • Demonstrated clinical competency across a broad range of anesthesia techniques
  • Active Illinois RN license and compliance with all CRNA regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
