The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They also serve as a liaison between hospital staff and physicians and assist in training student radiologic technologists.
Candidates must graduate from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology and hold a current Iowa Permit to Practice and CPR certification. ARRT CT Board Certification is required within six months of hire.
· Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians. · Educates and protects all customers entering the CT scanning room. · Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients. · Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists. · Assists with quality assurance processes.
Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. ARRT CT Board Certification required within 6 months of hire. CT experience strongly preferred. Current Iowa Permit to Practice. CPR certified. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.
