The RN Circulator manages the nursing care of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. They act as a patient advocate and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license and certifications in CPR and ACLS. A minimum of one year of experience in the operating room, specifically in orthopedic surgery, is required.
Registered Nurse - FT (4 days per week/ 10 hours per day)
The RN Circulator is a specialized healthcare professional who assists in provision of nursing care to patients during surgical procedures. Assumes total responsibility for ensuring that the surgical team has everything needed, coordinating patient care in accordance with physician's orders, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment. During operations and other surgical procedures, the circulator assists by acting as a patient advocate.
