The physician will provide critical care medical services to patients at Emory University Hospital and manage practice volume. Responsibilities include participating in on-call duties, attending meetings, and adhering to national patient safety goals.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be Board Eligible or Certified in Critical Care Medicine. A valid, unrestricted Georgia medical license and a DEA certificate are required.
The Emory Critical Care Center is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care Medicine Physician to join an established and thriving group at Emory University Hospital. The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing, performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Critical Care Medicine Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees. Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine. Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
