The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as patient intake and assisting with non-invasive procedures under provider supervision. They also manage administrative duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and clinic communication.
Requires completion of a Medical Assistant program and 0-1 years of experience or an externship. A BCLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI is mandatory.
The Medical Assistant supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a medical provider. This role assists with medical procedures, maintains exam rooms, facilitates patient intake, and ensures efficient clinic operations while providing excellent service to patients and staff.
