Mending broken hearts is at the core of being a Physician Assistant PA-C in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
As a Physician Assistant, you will work under the responsibility and supervision of the surgeon, performing diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physician to extend their services through the more effective use of knowledge in to establish diagnosis and to plan and implement therapy.
You will have a major role being a patient's advocate in the medical system serving as a confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients and physicians.

1. Two (2) years recent experience in cardiothoracic surgery required. 2. Recent Board eligible graduate NOT eligible at this time. 3. Endoscopic Vein Harvesting highly preferred.
1. Bachelor of Science degree in a physical science from an accredited institution required. 2. Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program. 3. Must complete courses of training for both basic and advanced cardiac life support.
Must be certified by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) and Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
Requires a Bachelor of Science, graduation from an accredited PA/surgical assistant program, and NCCPA and Pennsylvania state licensure. Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience in cardiothoracic surgery and BLS/ACLS certification.
