The registered nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing plans of patient care. They collaborate with various disciplines to execute the medical plan of care.
Requires a degree from an accredited school of nursing and a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or temporary permit. Basic Life Support and a Multi-State Compact RN license are also required.
The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
