Lifekind Health is looking for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team full-time. Deliver evidence-based psychological and behavioral health services to patients receiving care in a transdisciplinary pain management setting. This role collaborates closely with medical providers, physical reconditioning staff, and care coordination teams to support functional restoration, treatment adherence, and improved quality of life for patients with complex chronic pain conditions. Deliver a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and behavioral health intakes, depending on clinic needs and scheduling.

In Rancho Mirage, CA; Wednesday-Saturday, 8am-7pm, hybrid option is open (2 days in clinic (Wed/Thurs, 2 days remote (Fri/SAT).
Clinical Care
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intakes for patients with pain-related conditions
Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, trauma-informed approaches) tailored to chronic pain populations
Facilitate structured group therapy sessions focused on pain coping skills, functional restoration, emotional regulation, and health behavior change
Develop and document individualized treatment plans aligned with the patient’s overall medical and physical reconditioning goals
Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes and interdisciplinary feedback
Transdisciplinary Collaboration
Participate in coordinated care workflows alongside medical providers, physical reconditioning clinicians, and clinic operations staff
Communicate behavioral health findings and recommendations clearly to the care team to support integrated treatment planning
Contribute to case discussions, handoffs, and unit-based coordination as scheduled

Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field and an active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD/PhD, or LPCC). Experience with chronic pain populations and evidence-based modalities like CBT or ACT is preferred.
